Sammie + Drew, An October Postlewait's Country Wedding in Canby, Oregon

Sammie and Drew's wedding in October was my last wedding of 2022, and what a way to end my season! Postlewait's Country Weddings in Canby, Oregon was the perfect venue for their elegant fall celebration. In true Oregon fashion, the mercurial autumn weather forced their ceremony indoors, but thanks to their coordinator Natalie with Carpe Diem, everything was just as lovely as it had been at one of the many outdoor spots on the property. The aisle was lined with pumpkins, and their floral centerpieces were also on theme thanks to the floral artistry of Kim at Geranium Lake Flowers. And make sure you check out their CAKE! Cat with Sewell Sweets handmade every petal and pumpkin on their custom cake, which was also designed to look like a tree trunk with their initials.

Some of my favorite parts of their day were Drew's first look with their little girls, the surprise video hello from Sammie's brother-in-law who's currently deployed (shoutout to their DJ Paradox Productions for helping pull that off), and the little break in the rain we had to sneak away and really capture the fall foliage we'd all been looking forward to. It is such a joy to capture this family's most precious moments, and I am so excited to watch your family grow!
