Oregon Fall Family Photography Session Pantone Wardrobe Inspiration, Part One: Ballet Slipper

Every year, I anxiously await the Pantone Fashion Color Report for Fall, and this year's did NOT disappoint! Half the fun is taking these colors that aren't traditionally what you'd think of for Autumnal Inspiration, and coordinating them with other shades to get a really unique look for your family's outfits!

Over the next few weeks, I'll pick some of my favorite colors and put together some wardrobe inspiration pieces for each family member for your fall sessions!

This week, I'm going to feature "Ballet Slipper," because I really love this soft blush pink against the beautiful scenery we have here in the PNW.

I paired it with a cream v-neck tank, slate suede flats, and a chunky crystal necklace from J. Crew, to keep it all classic and simple.

For men, I kept it pretty casual with these warm brown chinos, a light heather henley, and classic New Balance trainers, all also available at J. Crew.

For kiddos, I kept the same basic colors and skipped accessories, only because I know my own kids tend to fuss with headbands/ bowties/ etc. I found everything at H&M, too! For girls, I love this blush shirtdress (and bonus belt) with these gray booties, and for boys these gray corduroy slacks, simple white cotton button-up, and tan boots. The great thing about H&M is that they tend to have the same things in all sizes, from babies to big kids, and that makes it super simple to dress a whole family (for pretty cheap, too)!

And there you have it! Outfit inspiration for your whole tribe based on one of my favorite hues from Pantone's Fall Fashion Color Report: Ballet Slipper! I'll pick a new color next week, so make sure you keep checking back, and thanks for reading!
