How much do your sessions and weddings cost?

Regular portrait session packages start at $750, and full day (8 hours) wedding coverage begins at $5000. You can find more info about what all that includes here, and I am always willing to build you a custom package! I also offer special pricing for microweddings (40 or fewer guests) and elopements, so send me a message for more information!

Will I get my images digitally?

Yep! I deliver all sessions and weddings to you via an online gallery, and from there you can download single images or the entire collection in both high resolution and web optimized resolution (i.e.: FB profile pic)! See a sample gallery HERE

How many images will I get?

For an average hour long portrait session, finished galleries end up having around 50 finished images. For weddings, I average 75 images per hour of coverage, 100 if there is a second photographer hired.

What about prints and albums?

I am a huge fan of printing your pictures, and work with a professional lab that color corrects and uses archival materials so that your investment lasts at least a lifetime. I'm happy to offer wall portraits, gift portraits, and- my favorite- heirloom albums!

What is your turnaround time?

Portrait clients receive their proofing gallery within 4 weeks (can be longer from September-December). Wedding clients can expect their full online gallery within 10 weeks, but possibly longer depending on time of year. Prints and albums are sent to my lab as soon as they're ordered, and are usually in your hands within a week, taking into consideration postal holidays. If you need your images sooner, please let me know before booking, and depending on your deadline there may be a rush fee.

What should we wear?

Whatever you feel comfortable in! I recommend avoiding clothing with logos, busy patterns, and bright (neon) colors. I also LOVE to help style your session, so don't hesitate to text me with some of the combinations you're considering beforehand and I will let you know honestly how it will look photographed.

Will you come to us?

You know it! For the cost of airfare and a night's stay in a hotel or AirBNB, and a car rental, I'll come to where you are! In Oregon and Washington, travel is included within 25 miles of Portland for sessions (100 miles for weddings), and calculated per mile under 250 miles. I don't mind driving and have a pretty killer car playlist! I also have a "bucket list" of locations that I will waive travel fees for!

Do you have any references and/or reviews?

Sure do! Click here to read some of my love notes.

How do we book you?

For weddings, click HERE to check your wedding date and setup a meet and greet over coffee or a cocktail, my treat! For all other sessions (families, headshots, maternity, etc.) click HERE.

Do you offer boudoir?

Definitely! For the privacy of my clients, I don't have those galleries published, but I am more than happy to send you a link to some sample galleries! Click HERE to shoot me an email about them.

Can you photograph my headshot/house/poodle/punk band/restaurant?

I've been at this a long time, and there isn't much I'm not equipped to capture on camera for you. I have a background in commercial photography, including real estate, and can send you samples of most anything. Drop me a line about what you're looking for, and I'll send you a customized quote!

What kind of camera do you use?

As of March 2025, my two primary cameras are both Canon R6 Mirrorless cameras, and I bring up to two Canon 5D Mark iv as a backup. My lens preference changes based on the situation, but all of the ones that I use are Canon L series. I typically switch between the EF70-200mm f/2.8L IS II USM and EF24-70mm f/2.8L II USM during ceremonies, and use the EF100mm f/2.8L Macro IS USM for details and EF35mm f/1.4L II USM for everything in between.

How long have you been a photographer?

Longer than it feels like! I took my first paying client in March 2006 and my first wedding in July 2006. I've been photographing for fun since I was, like, 5, but really started honing my skills in 2002 when I joined the photography club and started developing my own film.
